PaCE Framework Workshop

This workshop is designed will help school districts across Northwest Illinois’ Regional Office of Education 8 implement a coordinated and cohesive career and college readiness framework aligned with the Illinois Postsecondary and Career Expectations (PaCE) Framework, as well as provide the context for this work within Illinois Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness Act suite of initiatives. This workshop will… -Provide participants with the legal origins of and requirements for the implementation of a local career and college readiness framework -Engage participants with explorations of the high school and middle school State of Illinois PaCE Frameworks -Identify local priorities for a career and college readiness framework -Identify local processes for the development and implementation of your local career and college readiness framework Ideally, key leaders from each district will be able to attend this workshop together as there will be consistent opportunities throughout the workshop to develop plans for your school district. Reminder: By State Law (P.A. 99-0674) the PaCE Framework must be posted on the district website and implemented by July 1, 2025.
